Event description

Description

Join like-minded educators, celebrate your achievements this year, and hear from Andrew Price from Kwongan Kids. Andrew will share tips on starting a sensory or bush tucker garden in your school or early years learning centre and the importance of eco-education. Andrew will make links to the cross curriculum priority of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures.

Afternoon tea is provided.

This meeting is a chance for local primary and high school teachers, as well as early childhood educators to share ideas about the ways they run their classrooms and services sustainably and how they teach children to care for the environment and people. These meetings occur once per term and we will invite speakers to address sustainability topics that are of most interest to meeting participants.
