UP TO 50 DOOR PRIZES FOR ALL WHO ATTEND!
The Senior Resource Fair is an opportunity for you to "earn as you learn!" A variety of vendors will be there to share information with you about their products and services for the elderly. You will have the opportunity to speak one-to-one with each vendor, and social workers will receive 1.5 FREE CEUs (NASW Approved) in the process. Case Managers are encouraged to attend and visit all the booths and will be eligible for the door prizes, but will not receive continuing education credit.
There may be representatives from the following types of companies:
Home Health Agencies ~ Homemaker & Companion Agencies ~ Hospices
Adult Day Health Care Programs ~ Senior Centers ~ Senior Organizations
Senior Housing Facilities ~ Area Agencies on Aging ~ Senior Health Clinics
Wellness & Fitness Programs ~ Rehabilitation Services ~ Elder Law Attorneys
Mental Health & Counseling Providers ~ Reverse Mortgage Specialists
INFORMATION FOR VENDORS
Attendees are interested in learning what's new in services and products available to their elderly patients. This is your chance to build relationships as you share your expertise and educational materials with them. You will meet established and potential clients and referral sources in a friendly and receptive atmosphere where they anticipate hearing about your company, products, points of interest and services.
Space is limited. No walk-ins on the day of the event!
- The vendor fee includes catering. However, you are welcome to have treats at your booth.
Set-up begins promptly at 4:30pm, not a minute before! Check-in at the registration table for your table assignment.
- No free-standing or table-top displays, because they just get in the way of you speaking to the social workers. Bring collaterals and educational materials to hand out. Tables and chairs will be provided, but you will need to bring your own tablecloth.
- How it works: When the Resource Fair begins, attendees will visit your booth, at which time you will give your spiel, and then put your initials next to your company name on their sign-off sheet.
- Door Prizes: These are non-promotional gifts worth $20 or more for the attendees to receive after they have visited every vendor booth. Examples would be a gift basket of wine and/or other goodies, a gift card worth $20 or more to a restaurant or store, etc. NOTE: You may put your business card or sticker on the door prize you bring, but a basket full of your company's promotional materials will NOT be accepted as a door prize.
