Join the Division of Senior and Adult Services (DSAS) for Senior Centers 3.0: Innovation that Drives Change on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the Holiday Inn Rockside, from 8:30am-1:30pm.

  1. Developing Best Practice Strategies to Take your Senior Center to the Next Level
  2. Piloting Innovation in Cuyahoga County: One Call for Wellness and Communities Assisting Residential Elders (C.A.R.E.)
  3. Engaging Community Through Collaboration and Advocacy

Keynote Speaker: Lori-Stevic Rust, Ph.D., Clinical Health Psychologist, Director of Integrative Medicine and Senior Services for Lake Health Hospital, National Director of Clinical and Operational Programming for Artower Advisory Services, LLC

Also learn more about Cuyahoga County DSAS' two innovative pilot programs, including:

"One Call for Wellness Program" - an innovative coordinated, programming initiative offering Financial Wellness, Nutrition Education, Health and Wellness Programs, Aging Mastery, Safe at Home Connections, Energy Assistance Service Education and a Matter of Balance to Cleveland residents.

"Communities Assisting Residential Elders" (CARE) - an innovative program that uses volunteers to enhance safety and independence of older adults through minor home repairs/modification, simple maintenance and repairs, as well as coordination of these services.
