Why you should attend:
CMS data indicates that the number of mental and behavioral disorders in NYS nursing homes is high and increasing. The goal of this seminar is to ensure that both leadership and direct care staff are prepared to improve the quality of care and quality of life for this challenging population. Participants will be better prepared to understand and implement evidenced based interventions to achieve the goal of collaboratively working to improve behavioral health care.
Who should attend:
All Owners, Administrators, DNS, Medical Directors, Primary Physicians/Nurse Practitioners, MDS Coordinators, Social Workers, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, Therapeutic Recreational Staff, IDT Team Members and other interested parties. We encourage facilities to send leadership and direct care staff.
