Description

The Scott Institute for Energy Innovation will host Wolf Ketter, founder and director of the Erasmus Center for Future Energy Business and Professor of Next Generation Information Systems at Erasmus University, for a seminar on April 18, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. The Center enables robust, intelligent, efficient and sustainable energy networks of the future. Ketter is also the founder and Director of the Learning Agents Research Group at Erasmus. The goal of this group is to research, develop and apply autonomous and mixed initiative intelligent agent systems to support human decision making in the area of business networks, electronic markets, energy grids and supply chain management.

This is a free event that is open to all students and the general public.

Professor Wolf Ketter:

Professor Ketter is the founder and director of the Learning Agents Research Group at Erasmus. The goal of this group is to research, develop and apply autonomous and mixed initiative intelligent agent systems to support human decision making in the area of business networks, electronic markets, energy grids and supply chain management.

His is also the founder and director of the Erasmus Center for Future Energy Business which enables robust, intelligent, efficient and sustainable energy networks of the future.

He received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota in 2007.

Scott Hall is located on the east side of Carnegie Mellon's Pittsburgh campus between Hamerschlag Hall and the FMS building, and adjacent to the east wall of Wean Hall. Scott Hall is accessible from entrances in Wean Hall, on Hamerschlag Plaza, and on Hamerschlag Drive. See map.
