Event description

Description

Would you like a safer community?

Florida has the 3rd largest Department of Corrections, with nearly 100,000 inmates currently incarcerated. About 80% of them will recidivate, and some of them will return to prison 5 times.

What can we do about it? Are there effective solutions to such high rates of crime and recidivism?

At this seminar you will get information about tools you can use to help reduce crime in your own community.

Who should attend?

  • concerned Florida citizens
  • personnel of the Department of Corrections
  • law enforcement personnel
  • Department of Juvenile Justice staff
  • organizations dealing with the at-risk population
  • anyone working within the justice system
  • individuals and non-profit organizations working to reduce crime.

Why should you attend?

  • to become more impactful at reducing crime in your own community and in wider society
  • to network and meet others who share the same goals
  • to get briefed on effective crime reduction tools
  • to find out how to effectively reduce recidivism.

Come and join like-minded people who care about the incarcerated and want to create a safe community!

Food and beverages will be served.

Limited seats available.
