Event description

Description

This Open Ship is for prospective Lifelong Learners, an important part of the Semester at Sea shipboard community.

The Semester at Sea Lifelong Learning Program provides adult learners, who are 30 years of age or older, with an opportunity to join the SAS academic community. Lifelong Learners add a valuable generational element to the shipboard community. They are retirees, professionals on leave, or simply adventurous travelers who desire to study with bright, enthusiastic undergraduate students from around the world.

The Open Ship will include a presentation, a chance to speak with key shipboard community members and a tour of our living and learning community aboard the MV World Odyssey.

Open Ships are a fantastic way to see and experience first hand the Semester at Sea program. With exciting new itineraries beginning in Fall 2020, the ship will not be returning to the U.S. for a few years. Don’t miss the chance to come to this Open Ship event and learn about the value of a truly global education!

We look forward to welcoming you to our campus!
