The Defense Logistics Agency is a buyer for DOD, providing over $34 billion in goods and services annually which represent the majority of consumable items required by the US Military to operate, including spare parts, medical supplies, construction material, fuel and energy, and food.
DLA supports more than 2,300 weapon systems, manages nine supply chains and nearly 5.1 million items, and manages 25 distribution centers worldwide.
