About the Speakers:

Paul Adler accelerates global revenue growth for companies by helping them penetrate new markets and excel in existing markets. He is an experienced Global Business Development expert with a track record of success across industries and geographies. Most recently, Paul positioned companies for global success: U.S. companies in Australia and Australian companies in the U.S. as Director for the Australian Trade and Investment Commission, in industries such as Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, Smart Cities, Intelligent Transportation and Data Analytics. His successes included entrepreneurs, mid-size businesses and Fortune 500 companies. Previously, Paul won complex business opportunities in competitive markets: the U.S. Government market and Private and Public Sector markets across the Pacific Rim, during a 25 year career as a Business Development Executive with IBM.

Carey Arun is a Commercial Officer with the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration Foreign Service – U.S. Commercial Service. Carey assists U.S. Businesses to overcome trade barriers, identify market potential, and facilitates commercial diplomacy in order to export their products and services overseas both to foreign governments and commercial clients.

Prior to joining the Commercial Service Carey managed strategic programs for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS), worked for Lockheed Martin in Business Development and Program Management, the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Navy. Carey has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore. She is Certified Global Business Professional (NASBITE), certified Proposal Management Professional (APMP) for Business Development and holds a Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting Officers’ Representative (FAC-COR) level 3.
