Self-Published Photo Book Workshop
This free workshop, led by RisoLAB Artist in Residence Khatia Chitorelidze, focuses on the self-published art book, where the artist is both the author of the idea and the creator of the book. No experience is necessary- this serves perfectly as a basic introduction to the Risograph, a digital silk screen machine. Participants will design and print a simple photo book about NY on the Risograph. Participants should bring one or two of their own images via letter or tabloid size printout, or digital files at 300 DPI resolution on USB or uploaded on Google drive. Black and white or color images are both workable. Images should be connected to NYC, but can be any type- drawings, portraits, photos are all appropriate. Supplies will be included.
