Description
Safe and Strong Fitness is excited to kickoff Women’s History Month with a self-defense/self-protection seminar focused on women and teenagers. Topics will include: awareness, verbal and physical tactics to prevent and counter a violent attack, and what to do after a violent attack. Instructors have multiple certifications in several fitness and self-defense areas, including Krav Maga, which is the Israeli hand-to-hand combat system. One instructor is a lawyer, who will discuss the legal aspects of self-defense. Please join us for this exciting and educational seminar.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
The minimum age is 13. Also, although it is called a women’s self-defense workshop, men are encouraged to participate.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is ample parking in the lot adjacent to the building and on the street. Both are free!
What can I bring into the event?
Comfortable exercise clothes, clean gym shoes, a water bottle.
