SELF-CARE SUNDAY

Join us for a restorative, Self-Care Sunday, special event. Attendees will receive sound healing accompanied by acupuncture in a small group setting. This unique combination of healing practices help to produce optimal wellness through deep relaxation, balancing of the nervous system, decreasing stress responses and promotion of vitality.

During sound healing, Sound Practitioner, Kelvin Young uses the crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gong, tuning forks, rattles, hand drum and other healing tools to activate your relaxation response, calm your mind, relax your body and nourish your soul. The relaxing sounds assist in releasing tight muscles, pain, chronic/toxic stress, PTSD, depression, anxiety, addictive states and promotes positive sleep hygiene.

Dr. Nicole Klughers will give individualized acupuncture treatments in a common area while participants experience sound healing. Acupuncture helps to balance both functions and structures of the body. Acupuncture helps individuals to; feel more energized, avoid illness/injury, alleviate physical pain, improve mental clarity/focus, calm a racing mind (especially around bedtime) and is an extremely valuable self-care practice.

Each participant will receive a 20-30 minute acupuncture treatment from Dr. Nicole while comfortably relaxed in a common space where healing sounds will be offered by Kelvin Young.

Two sessions will be offered for this healing session at 11am and 12pm. Only areas below the knees and elbows are commonly needled. Arrive 10 minutes early to get settled in. Please wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing that can easily be rolled up to the knee/elbow.
