About this Event

Self-Care Saturday is a half-day Mini-Retreat of Yoga, Meditation, Mindset, Learning how to prepare Raw Treats & Sweets, Healthy Eating together with like-minded people sharing a light healthy lunch - all aimed to inspire you to more self-caring practices and to boost your self-care for the summer.

Whether you want to get re-inspired to start your days with a daily routine, enhance what you are already doing or simply want to add yoga practice, healthy meals or a more positive mindset to your life - this day is perfect for you.

The benefits of having a strong foundation of self-care in your daily life, be it healthy eating, some more raw foods, enough sleep, positive mindset, or taking time to be mindful, to meditate or do yoga - all will be covered in this easy to understand nurturing day - just for you.

The mini-retreat is held as a small intimate group which means that no matter what level you are at...

- The yoga practice can be tailored to you and your needs

- The mediation will guide you to greater self-awareness

- The mindset session with Erik Bigalk is like a Spring-Clean for your Mind so you can set new goals, routines and habits that are achievable and anchored in self-care

- You will also learn how to bring more healthy choices into your daily life

- Learning about the key benefits of raw food and how easy these can be to make

- You will also learn how to prepare quick healthy snacks and meals

- Taste raw treats and learn the recipes for healthy sweets

- Share a yummy healthy lunch and afternoon tea with like-minded people

There will also be some amazingly yummy treats available for purchase. (*please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary needs)

The mini-retreat runs from 11.30am - 4.30pm, please be there timely for a punctual start.

Wear comfortable clothes and ideally wear layers so you can adjust during the day. Yoga mats and blocks are provided. Please bring a notebook and pen, a closed water bottle, and an open heart and mind.

This value-filled retreat presents the ideal opportunity for you to deep-dive into self-care, to get inspired and energised - without having to spend a whole week or weekend away from your work, life and family or spend hundreds of dollars.

About Your Facilitators

Lani Clover is an international Yoga Teacher, passionate Veg/Vegan/Raw Chef, a keen meditator and practitioner of natural horsemanship. She has travelled to 12 countries and 3 continents. Lani brings her innately caring flavour to classes, sessions and retreats in Europe, Bali and Australia. Her love and passion for healthy living, food and making amazing deserts has taken her from being a vegetarian from a very young age to go vegan at age 12 and to becoming a raw chef at twenty. She has brought her culinary magic to workshops and retreats in Bali where she has been teaching at yoga trainings and retreats, has taken her culinary art to a number of raw cafes in Australia and delighted people everywhere she went with her decadent and surprisingly healthy creations.

She has also been the personal raw chef for multiple Grammy-Award winner India Arie during her tour in Australia and New Zealand. Lani is passionate about healthy yogic living, mindfulness and has just returned to Australia after being in Europe for the past two years and finishing yet another yoga/raw food retreat in Bali. www.conscious-consuming.com
