About this event

The repetitive motions of cycling and walking can sometimes lead to muscle tightness and strain. Combine sore body parts with the mental stresses of these uncertain times and you have a recipe for injury and dis-ease. What can you do to nurture yourself? In this hour-long mindful yoga and meditation class, practice yogic tools to find calm, release tension, and manage energy & focus. Program will include prone, standing, and seated poses as well as time on hands/knees, ending with a 10-minute seated meditation. Class led by certified yoga teacher and naturalist Barbara Tarrh. Pre-registration required. Yoga experience helpful but not required. Dress for comfortable movement. (Bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and blocks if you have them.)
