Parent Education Workshop

Speaker: Lara Scriba, RN

Target Audience: Parents of All Ages

The responsibilities of parenting can easily lead to stress, overwhelm, and caregiver burnout. Learn practical tools that not only reduce the stress and overwhelm of parenting but also build a sense of rhythm, vitality and ease within your body and daily routine for you and your family. In this workshop, we will optimize your energy and time; discover how to effectively navigate your nervous system; and quickly reset and create a state of calm in both body and mind using breathwork, movement and self-massage. We will discuss simple life-hacks to increase quality of sleep, boost immunity, optimize energy, enhance digestion and bring a little more ease into your life. In addition, we will discuss current parenting challenges and explore solutions to fit your needs.

Lara Scriba has a passion for holistic health and wellness in which she infuses not only into her professional life but also her family life as she raises two young boys. Her background includes working as a Registered Nurse in Emergency, Public and Community Health, a Yoga Teacher specializing in stress management, mindful eating, building body confidence and emotional resilience, and a Reiki practitioner. Lara currently teaches local and online workshops, yoga classes, and Eat Breathe Thrive Community School and Research programs in the East Bay.
