While Imagine Science always thrives on new and experimental ways of exploring the world, each year we save some of the most audacious reconfigurations of scientific themes for a program of largely animation and experimental film with Spectacle Theater. This year, our wide-ranging program examines how we may preserve ourselves in uncertain times, when even our identities become commercially harvestable data and threats may appear from unexpected sources. Watch for: dystopian sociologies of social media, unconventional conversations on health, technological history informing personal visions, and a literal preservation process in the frames of stop motion.
