Event description

Madison Community Discourse is a community arts nonprofit that connects community. We believe that art and discourse are the solutions for social change and connection. Through this study, we are interviewing 200 people, hosting two workshops a month on happiness, and sharing an interactive art exhibition. We believe people care about one another, support one another, when there is a sense of belonging and understanding. One less stranger and one more friend.

We are inviting participants of all ages to partake in a happiness interview. It is one question and takes about five minutes. The online interview component is here:

It is important to note that we are not asking specifically for only happy stories, but rather what happiness is in our lives. The entire spectrum is being studied, from depression to elation.

Names will remain confidential, but answers may be featured in a book will have answers from the commmunity. Answers may also be chosen to be illustrated by an artist to be shown at our annual exhibition in the fall 2017. If you do not feel comfortable sharing your information, please let us know in the beginning or end of your answer.
