Event description

Description

What is Mussar you may ask? In short, Mussar is a 900+ year old practice of studying middot (character traits) in order to make real and systemic changes in how we live our lives. Through deep intellectual mining of Jewish texts, we learn about how we can put our highest values and morals into practice. Mussar as a movement has made a resurgence in the past decade and Mussar groups are popping up at synagogues across the country. Come find out why!

Rabbi Adam Rosenwasser will be the facilitator. The mussar group will meet almost every other Tuesday from November 7th until mid-March. The course fee is $108 which includes all materials, access to the Mussar Institute’s website and resources, and a copy of the book Everyday Holiness by Alan Morinis. Financial assistance can be arranged. Please contact Rabbi Adam (arosenwasser@templesinaidc.org) with any questions you may have.
