About this Event

Together we will:

  • Talk about how stigma perpetuates fear about being vulnerable about mental health struggles
  • Discuss societal pressure to "keep it together" and the stigma and isolation that follow
  • Provide strategies for creating wellness plans one the days you're feeling good
  • How to talk to your loved ones about what you need before, during or after a mental health episode

Our mission: Remove stigma and normalize honest conversations about mental health. We believe in "getting real" and talking openly and authentically about mental health . . . without fear, shame or stigma.

Peace of My Mind was founded by Erin Callinan, MSW in 2013 after she was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder 1 at the age of 17. She is a nationally recognized public speaker and the author of the book, Beautifully Bipolar: An Inspiring Look Into Mental Illness. Erin has 13 years of experience in non profit leadership and holds a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University.
