Workshop led by Peter Brinch of the Seed Cooperative and Open Pollinated Seeds with theoretical and hands-on approaches.

About this Event

Led by the Seed Sovereignty UK & Ireland Programme (run by the Gaia Foundation) and hosted by Cyrenians Farm outside of Edinburgh, this hands-on one day workshop will go through the importance of seed saving, how to grow crops for seed saving, and seed extraction techniques. This workshop follows of from our workshop held this spring and is ideally designed for small-scale market and community gardens wishing to save their own seed and produce surplus to distribute.

Peter Brinch is Chair of the Seed Cooperative and founder of the Open Pollinated Seeds Initiative. He has 25 years' experience in biodynamic horticulture, including 12 years of open pollinated seed production and plant breeding, trials and selection.
