Artist and educator Sharon Louden will continue the conversation started in the first part of our SEE AND BE SEEN webinar series, Building an Artist's Relationship with a Gallery***, with the new webinar: Expanding Opportunities with Art Galleries. She will delve deeper into the topics pertinent to working with gallerists, curators and others to create opportunities for artists of all kinds. The purpose of this webinar series is to empower artists to sustain a creative life on their own and to collaborate with professionals in their community.

About the Speaker:

Sharon M. Louden is an artist, educator, advocate for artists, and editor of the Living and Sustaining a Creative Life series of books. She graduated with a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA from Yale University School of Art. Her work has been exhibited in numerous venues including the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, the Drawing Center, and Carnegie Mellon University, among others. Louden's artwork is held in major public and private collections and she has taught studio and professional practice classes for more than 25 years. |
