This session will explain the statutory duties on public authorities to promote equality of opportunity and good relations, and show how this knowledge can help you influence decision-making, strengthen consultation responses, and hold public bodies to account.

This workshop is for the community and voluntary sector. It will be particularly useful for:

• Policy officers and those involved in the development of policy
• Representatives from community or voluntary sector organisations seeking to influence public policy
• Anyone involved in consultation responses or advocacy work
