Event Details

Face it, as an investigator you have to be social. You have to talk to people. From the first day on the job to your last, you will speak to scores of people and some of these conversations will take the form of an interview. So, to be a successful investigator the art of the interview is one skill you must master.

Victim and witness interviews are part of every investigation. But the most interesting and often most challenging interviews are the ones you conduct with those suspected of crimes.

In this webinar, veteran prosecutor and trained interrogator, Mark Booher, will show you the path to conducting a successful suspect interview, while avoiding many of the common traps and pitfalls along the way. Discussion will include:

- "Prepping" the Suspect
- Why Confessions Are Not the #1 Goal
- Detecting Deception
- Truth About Non-Verbal & Verbal Clues
- Questions Types & Techniques
- Confrontations
- Handling Objections & Denials
- How to Make a Good Confession Great

This is a live event with a Q & A session to follow. Make sure you come with your questions! We look forward "to seeing" you there!
