Our Guest Speaker
Jerri Williams served 26 years as a special agent with the FBI. During her career, most of her investigations were focused on economic crimes. Among the cases she investigated were a $350 million Ponzi scheme that targeted nonprofit organizations and high-profile philanthropists, an international advanced-fee scam, and a business-to-business telemarketing fraud that included a long-term undercover operation – all of which resulted in significant forfeitures and multi-year prison sentences for the perpetrators. Today Williams is a mystery author (Pay to Play) and host of a podcast (FBI Retired Case File Review with Jerri Williams) in which she interviews with retired FBI agents about their most intriguing cases and reviews crime fiction and crime dramas.
