Experience why Tai Chi and Qigong uniquely foster a deep relaxation of the body, encourage a meditative state-of-mind and rejuvenate you, even if you are exhausted, in pain or highly stressed out.

This form of mindful breathing and movement is designed to improve the quality of life for people of all ages--well or unwell. This includes those who may be dealing with disease, chronic pain and health conditions, limited mobility, deficient immune systems, anxiety or depression. This style of mind, body and breath practice is based on the four major recognized styles of Tai Chi and is highly effective for empowering self-care and self-management skills.

As you practice, Tai Chi will reveal itself to be a powerful exercise program that uses gentle movements to increase joint flexibility, circulation, range of motion and muscle strength. As a practice that Harvard calls "medication in motion," the slow movements are engaged by the mind to control both the body and breath, which upregulates the synergy of balance throughout every internal system of the body. Tai Chi can be used to manage stress levels by creating a heightened sense of self-awareness and conscious choice no matter what you are faced with. The mind-body practices of Tai Chi soothe and rewire the brain connections (nervous system), increase cognitive functions, and improve brain plasticity.

Integral Tai Chi builds on what you learned in Tai Chi Easy™ to further improve your mobility, breathing and relaxation. Even still, the movements don't require deep bending or squatting, which makes it easier to practice and more comfortable to learn for people of all ages, fitness levels and physical abilities.
