--About the Gala des Femmes en Flammes--
A HAITIAN AWARD CEREMONY being held in honor of Haitian women whose lives and professional work have paved the way for a better HAITI. For most of the nominees, their skills and talents have won global spotlights; yet at home and in the Diaspora little has been done to show appreciation, and in some cases not much is known about them. Taking a page from other nations, whose pride and talent are displayed on a yearly basis to honor their sons and daughters’ accomplishments, we too as a Haitian people are taking the time to honor our own. This event in the Diaspora is much needed and will serve as a show of appreciation from our home country as the Haitian community in the Diaspora commemorates its daughters’ contributions to the land.
Choosing ten (10) other women among so many who have made historical impact in Haiti is no easy task, but we will have to stop there this time around again. The Award Ceremony is expected to bring together nearly 500 attendees who will enjoy some of Haiti’s artistic flavors, the sound of Haitian music, a medley of Haitian dance, and of course fine arts from Haitian artists. These and much more will be provided for the audience by some of the greatest talents among Haiti’s stars and future stars – as we commemorate our Haitian women while providing live entertainment for the event.
EVENT begins sharply at 9 pm from the Red Carpet into the Cocktail Hour.

Name of all attendees must be registered on our roster. Please have your ID ready with proper name at the entrance.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
IDs are required. Children must be accompanied by an adult and registered on roster.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Public Transportation is accessible. Valet Parking is free.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
No Large Videography Equipment
