Second Annual Komen Louisiana Metastatic Breast Cancer Conference
Event Information
Description
Komen Louisiana is excited to host Louisiana’s 2nd Annual Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) Conference on June 12-13, 2020. Metastatic or stage IV breast cancer is breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body such as the bones, lungs, liver, or brain.
June 12, 2020 from 8:00am – 5:00pm
June 13, 2020 from 8:00am – 3:00pm
For those living with metastatic breast cancer, their caregivers, and anyone interested in the presentations, you’ll join us on our Facebook page. Facebook Live participants can ask questions in the comments, and our moderators will share those during Q&A.
For healthcare providers seeking continuing education hours, you’ll join us via Zoom. We are able to offer CMEs for physicians, CNEs for nurses, and CEUs for social workers. Those seeking continuing education must select a doctor/nurse/social worker ticket and register for the specific sessions they plan to attend on Eventbrite. Registration is $10 per webinar, and space is limited. Those registering for a continuing education presentation will receive a Zoom Webinar ID for each session. No partial credit will be awarded.
Please note, we are not able to certify continuing education hours for Facebook Live participants or for those who listen in on another participant’s webinar. In order to receive continuing education hours, participants must register for the webinar(s) on Eventbrite, participate via Zoom, and complete a post-event evaluation.
The Zoom meeting will be simultaneously broadcasted to Facebook so that all attendees can ask questions and learn together!
We are excited to offer two days of learning, fellowship, and the most current information on treatments, clinical trials, patient support and more related to metastatic breast cancer.
