Second Annual High Desert Book Festival
Sat, October 7, 2017, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM PDT
The Second Annual High Desert Book Festival, produced by Victor Valley Arts and Education Center, will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017. We are, once again, proud to be part of the Sixteenth Annual Victorville Fall Festival, on Civic Drive in Victorville, CA. The Fall Festival is a free street festival that attracts over 15,000 people annually.
The registration information and fees to be an exhibitor at our book festival will be published soon. Early registration will take place first for last year’s exhibitors. General registration will be sent, by invitation to approved vendors, starting May 1, 2017.
Last year’s festival was a great success for our exhibitors and was well attended by hundreds of book lovers who steadily moved through our book festival area. We will again have presentations by bestselling authors, books for sale by our exhibitors, a Children’s Pavilion with nonstop storytelling, both local and visiting exhibitors, and festival merchandise. We anticipate that Barnes & Noble will, once again, be setting up a mini bookstore. And this year we will have a poetry slam tent with open-mic.
We are still in the process of booking presenters for our lecture stage, so please check back for more updated information.
Victor Valley Arts is a 501c3 nonprofit, based in Hesperia, CA, one of the four adjoining cities of the Mojave High Desert.
