We are so excited to welcome you all to the Second Annual Harvest Ale Festival! This event promotes community and brings people together to celebrate local hops and local craft beer!

All proceeds from this event will be going to the Nebraska Craft Brewers Guild to help them in their efforts to advocate and promote independent craft brewers in Nebraska.

VIP Hour: 1 PM-2 PM. *VIPs get a special tasting glass, early entry and access to indoor bathrooms*
General Admission: 2 PM-5 PM

Many of the participating breweries will be pouring beer brewed with Nebraska hops!

This unique outdoor festival will feature tastings of fresh hopped and harvest styled brews highlighting local hop and craft brew production, food for purchase from The Gilded Swine and The Cheese Life Omaha, a few vendors selling beer & hop themed merchandise, scenic views of the largest hop yard in Nebraska, fall activities, and an afternoon you won’t forget among friends.

What Does My Ticket Include?

  • An afternoon of tasting highly admired craft beers from around Nebraska and the Midwest, meet with the brewers themselves, as well as access to purchase food from several food trucks.

  • The Harvest Ale Festival will take place on Saturday, October 19th with VIP Hours 1:00PM – 2:00PM, General Admission 2:00PM-5:00PM at Midwest Hop Producers in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. Breweries will be pouring until 5:00PM (whiles supplies last). The main gate closes at 3:30pm, no entry after this time.

  • Live music from The Midnight Wanderers will be playing throughout the day.

  • A commemorative glass


  • You are required to print and bring your ticket(s) to the event or have them ready to scan off your smartphone at the entrance for admittance in to the event.

  • If you purchased multiple tickets, you must print all tickets with the individualized bar codes or have them ready for scanning on your smartphone. Duplicate bar codes will not be admitted, no exceptions.

  • All guests must have a ticket purchased through Eventbrite

Attendee Information

  • You MUST have a photo ID with you, IDs will be checked at the entrance.

  • You may not bring any outside beverages into the event; however empty water bottles and sealed water bottles will be allowed. All purses and backpacks will be subject to search

  • Water will be provided

  • No aspect of the event, including without limitation its entertainment, musical performances, designs, media or any other property may be reproduced, retransmitted, distributed, published or displayed without the express written consent of the event organizers.

  • Event is rain or shine.

  • Lawn chairs or other seating implements may not be brought into the event.

  • Please drink responsibly. We reserve the right to refuse admittance, refuse service, and/or remove anyone from the event for any reason.


What do I get with admission?

You get admission into the festival, a tasting glass, beer, access to the music and a chance to talk to your favorite brewer.

Where do I but my tickets and how much are they?

Tickets are sold via Eventbrite. General Admission tickets Early Bird (limited amount) cost $35 plus fee’s, Prior to event cost $40 plus fee’s, Day of event $50 plus fee’s, Designated Driver tickets $15 plus fees, and VIP tickets (limited amount) cost $60 plus fees.

What food will be available at the event?

We are proud to offer several food trucks. If you have dietary restrictions, you are welcome to bring your own food inside with you, however no outside beverages are permitted unless they are sealed water bottles. Empty water bottles will be allowed and may be filled at our filling stations.

Will there be vegetarian or vegan food options available?

The attending food trucks may provide some vegetarian and/or vegan food options; however, these will be limited. As with any beer event, we strongly recommend eating a hearty meal beforehand.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

If you plan to sample beer, You MUST have a photo ID with you, IDs will be checked at the entrance. Bracelets designating that your ID has been checked must be worn at all times during the event.

Are children allowed at the event?

Yes, minor children and infants are welcome, but they must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, please print all tickets that were purchased. If you are unable to print your tickets you must download the Eventbrite app and your purchased tickets to your smartphone for scanning at the entrance. Please also have your photo ID out and ready to be checked when you arrive.

So, what does a VIP Ticket include?

It includes early entry to the festival, bathrooms inside and a special glass.

So, what does a Designated Driver Ticket include?

It includes early entry to the festival and the opportunity to drive your friends home after the festival.

Can we bring pets?

No pets are not allowed.

What happens if it rains?

The event is rain or shine, be prepared for the heat as well. Be sure to drink plenty of water before and during the event. You may bring an empty water bottle to fill inside if you would like.

Is there seating?

There is seating on the patio. Please do not bring in chairs and blankets.

Event parking will be located at the hop yard. You’ll want to wear comfortable walking shoes as the festival will be on the great lawn and parking will be on a rock road.

Will there be wine or gluten free beers?

There will not be any wine served as this is an event that celebrates craft beer. It is up to the brewery on what type of beer they bring.

Will more tickets be sold?

No, once the tickets are sold out, they are sold out. We will not be selling more tickets later.

What's the refund policy?

Event is rain or shine. No refunds, No exceptions.
