Welcome to “Modern Excel” – Seattle User Group Kickoff Meeting!
Business Intelligence, Big Data, and Data Science: when we hear those terms, our first feelings are often things like “cutting edge,” “business critical,” and “exciting.” But those terms also evoke words like “expensive,” “arcane,” and “specialized.”
The surprising truth, however, is that the Age of Data will NOT be dominated by data specialists operating in their ivory towers. It will instead be dominated by YOU – today’s users of Excel, solving business problems from a business perspective… but using “New Excel.” What does that m and by the organizations that best learn to empower them.
Please join us for the inaugural meeting of the Seattle “Modern Excel” User Group. Agenda:
Exclusive video intro from Rob Collie (former Microsoft engineering leader and founder of PowerPivotPro) – Why Now, What IS “New Excel,” the MASSIVE Opportunities Awaiting, and a Map to the Road Ahead.
Discussion led by anthropreneur and data analysis wizard, Geoff McNeely - where are you on the roadmap? What are the challenges to making progress? What would you like to see from the group?
Meet and greet – meet your fellow Excel professionals from the Seattle area. You will be surprised at how “Not Alone” you are.
Revitalize your career. Win with data.
When & Where
Geoff McNeely brings a wealth of knowledge and experiences from his background as a business intelligence analyst, database developer, and business consultant. He has worked in sales, marketing operations, and product development.
He found his way to Modern Excel while working on a project at Microsoft. Someone directed him to Power Pivot, he got hooked, and took it from there.
