Description

Seattle Ignited Women Project is an event dedicated to redefining what success and strength mean as a woman. This is an empowering and inspiring opportunity to hear from nationally recognized leaders in their field. Redefine success and gain a new perspective on the many ways to be a strong female.

Speakers:

1. Erin Brown

Erin Brown is a writer, speaker & activist whose work focuses on women, healing and autonomy. She utilizes authentic narrative to promote empathy and compassion toward ourselves and others.

2. Lori Lindsey

Lori is a former professional soccer player who has represented her sport on both a national and international level. Her professional playing career spanned 13 years, with her most notable accomplishment representing the United States Women’s National Team at the 2011 Women’s World Cup in Germany, and helping the team earn the 2012 Olympic Gold Medal in London. Lori is one of only four players to have played in all three U.S. professional women’s soccer leagues. She finished her career in December 2014 with Canberra United of the Australian W-League where she played the past two seasons. Lori was a two-time All-American at the University of Virginia and was twice named ACC Player of the Year, joining Mia Hamm as the only two players to accomplish the feat.

3. Dianna Russini

Dianna Russini is an ESPN SportsCenter anchor. Prior to joining ESPN, Russini was the main sports anchor at WRC-TV (NBC4) in Washington, D.C. anchoring evening sportscasts, reporting from major live events and breaking news on both television and social media. Russini worked as an anchor and reporter for both news and sports for NBC Connecticut before going to Washington. Prior to working in Connecticut, Russini worked for Comcast Sports in Seattle, WNBC in New York City, and News 12 Westchester, N.Y. She started her TV career interning at ABC News for Diane Sawyer and WABC.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There are a few parking lots on campus that will be available for you to park in:

Pay machines located at 12th and E. Marion St (Visitor Lot, P5), and 11th and E Cherry St (Murphy Garage, P4 next to Seattle U Park, level 1).

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

No age limit but we request that you do not bring babies or young children.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

We recommend that you don't carry too much to the event. You will be responsible for your items. If you would like to take any notes, you can bring a pen, pencil, and note pad.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

If you bought a ticket and won't be able to make it, you can transfer your ticket to another person. To transfer a ticket, please email the event organizer with your name and the name and email address of the person to whome you'd like to transfer your ticket.

Can I update my registration information?

No. Once you have submitted your registration and received an order confirmation, your order is complete. If you have questions regarding the registration process, please contact our ticket agent, Eventbrite at www.eventbrite.com

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

We recommend that you bring your printed ticket or access to your ticket via your mobile device.

What is the refund policy?

All sales are final. We cannot refund your ticket.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
