Description of tour:

This driving tour will cover the three main lines of business at Port Everglades, including cargo, energy and cruise, with an emphasis on cruise.

The tour will include stops at cruise terminals to see the versatility of set up, operations and design. Informational tidbits will be shared as the shuttle makes its way through the Northport petroleum area, which boasts the largest petroleum tank farm in Florida, as well as the Southport containerized cargo terminals and docks.

A highlight on the tour will be viewing the environmentally sensitive zones that are home to native wildlife and plants. Participants will be able to briefly step out on the cargo docks to get a behind the scenes view of how goods make their way off ships and on to store shelves.
