Julie and Sachi invite you share a new experience on the mat and in the kitchen. Applying Ayurvedic principles to asana, they have created a workshop series to help you better understand what it means to practice - and eat - in alignment with your unique mind-body constitution (dosha) as well as the rhythms of the seasons.
Designed to help you navigate this recurrent shift, you will first be guided through an asana practice created to help the body better harmonize with the season’s rhythmic cycle. Afterwards, we will all gather for a cooking demonstration while enjoying a seasonal Ayurvedic juice or tea. You will learn how the doshas and qualities of each season govern the body’s constitution, and how integrating Ayurvedic principles into your diet can promote a healthy and healing mind-body connection.

Cool down as Summer warms up! This seasonal yoga practice and Ayurvedic cooking demonstration will show you how to stay calm, cool and balanced throughout the hot Summer months. We’ll start with asana and pranayama to explore both solar and lunar elements - solar to celebrate the upcoming summer solstice and lunar to help cool the body during the heat of summer. Then, we’ll move to the kitchen and delve into delicious Ayurvedic recipes sure to keep us cool--and satisfied--all summer long.
Bring mat, water, towel and any props you may need as well for practice as well as a notebook and pen. Recipes will be provided.
**We rely on accurate attendance count to make important arrangements for our workshop, thus, we do not refund or transfer registration payments. Please take this into account when you sign up for the workshop. If you have dietary restrictions, message us directly when you purchase your ticket. We aim to choose recipes that do not involve common food intolerances but also follow Ayurveda principles and can only make accomodations on a case by case basis.**
