The Metro Chamber Orchestra concludes its Fourteenth Season with two one act works. Phillip Hagemann's one act opera of the Biblical tale "Ruth" returns to the MCO repertoire. In the title role is Canadian soprano Alyson Spina.
Manuel de Falla's immortal work of love and sorcery "El Amor Brujo" concludes the program. Filled with Spanish passion and unforgetable melodies this work is heard here in its original 1915 edition scored for chamber orchestra. Italy's next great mezzo soprano Antonella Carpenito makes her American debut in the thrilling work.
