Fort Lauderdale Beach comes alive with its signature holiday celebration, as Las Olas Oceanside Park (The LOOP) presents a full month of Seas & Greetings holiday events — blending coastal cheer, family traditions, and oceanside fun from Thanksgiving Weekend through December 22. The season begins on November 28 with a Taylor Swift tribute concert and unfolds into a joyful lineup of themed weekends, festive markets, pet-friendly activations, fitness programming, and oceanside experiences for all ages.

From there, the festivities continue with four immersive themed weekends that each bring their own style of holiday magic to the shoreline. Guests can explore some of the most popular holiday events in Fort Lauderdale — including Grinchmas on the Beach, Candyland Family Fun Day, and Christmas by the Sea — all set against the backdrop of swaying palms and sparkling lights. The celebration begins early with a high-energy Thanksgiving Weekend kickoff on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Love Story: A Tribute to Taylor Swift brings the songs, sparkle, and stadium-sized energy of Taylor’s biggest hits to the sand. From “Shake It Off” to “Cruel Summer,” this family-friendly night sets the tone for a month of celebration at The LOOP. Music continues to shape the spirit of the season as December on Fort Lauderdale Beach wouldn’t be complete without the soundtrack of Friday Night Sound Waves. As the ninth season comes to a close, the Backstage Pass Finale celebrates the music of iconic artists in three high-energy shows:

• Friday, December 5, the December season kicks off with Heart of Glass & Subliminal Doubt, two powerhouse tribute acts honoring the music of Blondie and No Doubt. Expect soaring vocals, nostalgic anthems, and a dance-filled start to the month.
• Friday, December 12, the energy amps up with Livin’ on a Prayer, a crowd-favorite tribute to Bon Jovi, delivering all the hits, hooks, and fist-pumping rock edge fans know and love.
• The series wraps on Friday, December 19, with Man in the Mirror, a dazzling tribute to Michael Jackson, complete with electrifying choreography and the timeless songs that defined a generation.

The season kicks off with two days of Whoville-inspired fun and pet-friendly cheer as The LOOP transforms into a playful winter retreat by the sea.

Max’s Mutt Parade + Whoville Highlights

Families and their pups are invited to join Max’s Mutt Parade, a festive Pack Walk hosted by FTL Dog Moms Hayley & Bella. This event serves as the launch of The LOOP’s weekend-long Grow Your Heart Toy & Supply Drive, benefiting the Humane Society of Broward County.

Visitors can meet the Grinch and Cindy Lou, enjoy live jazz from Ginetta’s Vendetta Holiday Jazz Trio, explore the Whoville Houses, and start the morning with Namaste & Naughty Grinch Yoga with Lisa Pumper.

Sunday, December 7
Miss Tracy, Christmas Karaoke & Feeding South Florida Food Drive

Sunday brings joyful moments for the littles with Miss Tracy Sings Holiday Songs, followed by Christmas Karaoke with DJ Jason (12–3 p.m.). Guests can also contribute to the weekend’s giving efforts through an in-person and virtual Feeding South Florida food drive.

Candyland at The LOOP begins with a festive holiday marketplace set along Gingerbread Lane. Guests can enjoy visits from Santa, hands-on crafts, eco-friendly gingerbread décor from Stoked on Salt, and photo opportunities with giant gingerbread inflatables throughout the park. The MKT will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring local makers, coastal gifts, and seasonal treats, with live music and special appearances adding to the holiday spirit.

Candyland Family Fun Day

The sweetness continues with Candyland Family Fun Day, where Gingerbread Lane comes alive with Candyland game characters, themed balloon artists, and a gingerbread inflatable village for playful photo ops. Families can enjoy Santa visits, youth performances by the Broward Center Spotlights, DJ entertainment, and gingerbread crafts, along with all-day access to Letters to Santa. Start the morning with Santa Salutations Yoga with Lisa Pumper, then enjoy oceanside photo moments with Santa alongside two crowd favorites — Santas Shasta & Flamingos, plus the return of The LOOP’s beloved Christmas Mermaid. Guests can also enjoy Letters to Santa, make-and-take crafts, live holiday steelpan music from Domo, as they explore The MKT’s holiday offerings.

Sunday, December 21
The festive fun continues with another day of appearances by Santa, Santas Shasta & Flamingos, and the Christmas Mermaid, offering more opportunities for beachy holiday photos. Families can enjoy Letters to Santa, kid-friendly crafts, and live holiday music from Ginetta’s Vendetta, along with the final weekend of holiday shopping at The MKT.
