Event description

Description

Embroidery has been a central part of Palestinian culture for centuries. From the Ottoman period to the present day, embroidery has remained an outlet for those experiencing occupation and displacement and provides tools for refugees to express themselves and remain connected with their heritage.

As part of BPFF's closing program, join us for an evening of art and discussion as we celebrate Palestinian embroidery and reflect on its cultural role, past and present. Enjoy the work of embroidery artist Clotilde Abudi, who has generously made her stunning and extensive collection of work available for this unique exhibit and will be attending the event.
