Description

The Society for Disability Studies invites you to this community gathering on Wednesday evening at the Multiple Perspectives Conference. Connect, reflect, and look forward!

Dinner will be provided for those who register. Registration closes April 14th, 11am ET.

This form will ask about your needs regarding food and access issues. Additional attendees will be welcome, space permitting.

Join us at the Salon for:

  • Anne Finger reading from her new novel A Woman, in Bed.
  • Artist Mark D. Wittig exhibiting his photographic portraits and oral histories of the disability community.
  • Discussion: Disabling Borders and Enabling Bridges: Disability Justice in Scholarly Activism, with Holly Pearson, Sara M. Acevedo, Emily A. Nusbaum, Nicola A. McClung
  • Discussion: But Captions are So Intrusive and other Anti-Access Microaggressions, with Cheryl Green
  • Town Hall for SDS members and friends.

There is no charge for this event, but donations are most welcome!
