This course is designed to assist traditional project managers, test professionals, analysts, programmers and other members of the development team as they transition into their new roles as Scrum development team members, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and facilitators of large scale Scrum at the organizational level. The course is taught from the perspective of the Scrum Master role, but anyone needing an understanding of the basic Scrum framework will find this course valuable.
This 2-day event presents the attendee with an outstanding opportunity to become immersed in learning Agile principles and the Scrum Framework. Your instructor will actively engage you, educate you, and most of all stimulate you to think about new ways of working. Come prepared to learn! Come with an open mind! You will leave with some fundamentally new ideas, a surge of energy and, of course, the basis for your SMC certification along with 16 PDUs to keep up your PMP certification and help prepare for the PMI-ACP.
Your ScrumMaster Certification is your first major step in the journey towards this adaptive and empirical form of work organization. It will familiarize you with all the elements of the Scrum framework. Your next step will be to gain the experience necessary to become a Scrum Master Certified (SMC).
Even though this is an introductory course, some persons already experienced in the Scrum framework decide to attend this class because they seek the industry standard SMC certification.
Your trainer, Saurabh G. has years of experience helping individuals, teams, and organizations adopt Scrum so he will be able to answer your questions from a rich experience base.
