You will learn:
The difference between bolts and screws
How to identify different types of each.
What different types of head are and why to use them.
What the different types of drives are and why to choose them (philips, flat head, hex)
How to tell the difference between standard and metric.
How to use a thread guage.
How to figure out what size you need.
How to read bolt markings.
How to comunicate your needs at the hardware store or order online.
Other specialty hardware types and when they are used.
Whats a torque spec?
Everyone will have a chance to work with nuts bolts screws in an assembly.

About the instructor: Rob has been in manufacturing technology for 10 years. He works during the day as an applications engineer for 3d printers and reverse engineering. He has built Battlebots and other mechanical assemblies for years.
