Weather you are a filmmaker, actor, writer or creative person with an idea for a script you want to get off the ground the Screenwriting Masterclass will give you a battle tested framework professionals use to quickly and consistently produce high quality stories and scripts for any format.
Learn lightning fast techniques to:

Writing is not a spectator sport.
Over the course of the weekend, you'll LEARN and APPLY a simple and effective framework to create an original production ready short format screenplay.
All scripts will get multiple live readings, feedback rounds, and rewrites with an experienced mentor guiding you each step of the way.
One script from this class will be selected for production as a short film to be cast and shot on August 3rd and 4th.

A Laptop computer or other device that allows you to quickly write and rewrite text.

Meet Your Mentor
Franco Barbeite, directed award winning music videos and commercials for clients like MySpace and GBX Shoes. Before that he was an editor on Ed Harris's Academy Award winning film "Pollack", designed and animated one of Universal Television's first hit reality shows "Blind Date", and worked as writer/producer at FX Channel, cowriting with 5 time Emmy Award winning writer Sandy Frank. When Franco isn't judging film festivals, he's usually mentoring emerging filmmakers.
