Event description

Description

Join NYC Media Lab on the afternoon of its annual summit, NYCML'19, for a screening of The Great Hack.

A Netflix Original Documentary

The documentary explores how a data company named Cambridge Analytica came to symbolize the dark side of social media in the wake of the 2016 U.S. presidential election, as uncovered by journalist Carole Cadwalladr. The New School's David Carroll is featured prominently throughout; NYCML'19 will include an afternoon screening and discussion.

You do not need to be an NYCML'19 Annual Summit ticketholder to attend! The event is free and open to the public.
If you'd like to also attend NYCML'19, registration is also open on Eventbrite here.
If you'd like to attend both, please register for both the screening and NYCML'19 separately.
