Description

2018 marks the 100th Anniversary of Alvin York's heroism in the Meuse Argonne Forest. As part of the 2018 film festival, the MacArthur Memorial will screen the 1941 film Sergeant York (94 min). Staring Gary Cooper, the film traces York's transformation from a self-identified contentious objector to one of America's most celebrated World War I heroes.
