Event description

Description

On August 15, 2017, at 7 PM the MacArthur Memorial will screen Operation Chromite (115 mins) in the Visitor Center Theater. Operation Chromite is a South Korean film from 2016 inspired by a secret intelligence operation that occurred prior to the Battle of Inchon. The film stars Liam Neeson as General Douglas MacArthur and it provides an interesting perspective on the Korean War.

This screening is made possible due to the generous support of the Peninsula Korean American Association, the Peninsula Korean Women Association, the Hampton Roads Business Association, the Hampton Roads Korean Association, the Peninsula Korean Senior Association, the Peninsula Korean Veterans Chapter Association, and the Tidewater Korean Association.

This event is FREE but registration is requested.
