Event description

Description

Prayer for Compassion is the beautiful and powerful new film about the intersection of compassionate living and spirituality. Directed by Student Academy Award winner Thomas Jackson and produced by longtime vegan author and Main Street Vegan podcaster, Victoria Moran, this film asks people who identify as religious or spiritual, "Does what we eat matter to God?"
We are excited to bring the film and Victoria Moran to Columbus for a one night screening/Q&A.

Light vegan refreshments will be provided by CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S VEGAN (https://www.cantbelieveitsvegan.biz) and BELLA GOAT BAKERY (https://www.facebook.com/thebellagoatbakery/) at no cost.

Educational material will be available too.

If you are vegan, we encourage you to bring a non-vegan friend!

Please check out the trailer of this film on Victoria's Main Street Vegan website: https://mainstreetvegan.net/a-prayer-for-compassion/ or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dz4Q2ENpvrw

This event is FREE, but you must order a ticket through Eventbrite to attend. Your RSVP does not guarantee a seat.

Thanks to VEGFUND https://vegfund.org for providing some grant money to assist with this screening!

"This film reminds us that no being should be exempt from grace, kindness and compassion" ~ moby
