iScreen, You Screen, Wii All Screen: A Family Guide to Media Usage

By Dr. Rebecca Unger and Dr. Scott Goldstein

As a parent, there are endless questions you may have about the impact of media around us. Dr Rebecca Unger and Dr. Scott Goldstein will share their recommended pediatric tips and practical advice.

We will leave plenty of time to answer your questions and concerns that you may have. By the end of this event, we expect to arm you with a practical overview to help you or your caregivers with recommendations you can implement easily and practically.


Scott Goldstein, M.D. F.A.A.P

Dr. Goldstein graduated from Northwestern University and the University of Illinois Medical School. He is a Board Certified physician and completed his pediatric training at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. He is also an Instructor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Northwestern University School of Medicine.

Dr. Goldstein is very involved in parent education. Giving talks to parents groups is a way for him to express his life-long interest in learning and teaching. He speaks on a range of topics, from child developmental milestones, to how a child’s environment affects her health, to potty training.

Rebecca Unger, M.D. F.A.A.P

Dr. Rebecca Unger graduated from Tufts University and Rush Medical College. A Board Certified physician for more than twenty years, she completed her pediatric training, as well as a fellowship in General Academic Pediatrics, at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She also worked at the Lurie Wellness and Weight Management Clinic for over twenty years where she counseled underweight and overweight children. Dr. Unger is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Northwestern University School of Medicine. Her interests include well infant and child care, family fitness, childhood nutrition, obesity and obesity prevention and adolescent health.
