SCRAP is 40 years old and it's time for a party!
Thank you to all who have supported SCRAP40. We have sold all tickets.
Tickets will NOT be available at the door.
Our "fancy, yet casual" mixer will include artists, educators, and other fabulous SCRAP supporters. We will share fine wines and brews that compliment multi-cultural food. You'll enjoy make beautiful (or scary) masks from reused materials, and taking your creation home.
Entertainment will be provided by the renowned Ruth Asawa School of the Arts Jazz Combo.
The evening will be punctuated with brief presentations by authorities on reuse, the environment and education. We’ll conclude with a ceremony recognizing SCRAP’s visionary founder and Jefferson Award winner, Anne Marie Theilen, and others who have kept SCRAP vibrant and essential for four decades.
Join us to celebrate SCRAP's history and to help SCRAP prepare for the future.
This is a zero-landfill event.
And don't miss RECLAIMED: elevating the art of reuse, at the beautiful SF Arts Education Gallery at the Minnesota Street Project in San Francisco. The opening for this exciting, juried art show will be October 8th. There is no cost to attend. More info at scrapartshow.org.
