Do I need to bring anything?

Just your journal or scrapbook- we’ll provide everything else, including glue, scissors, paper, stickers, and washi tape and snacks!

I’ve never done junk journalling before, is that okay?

Completely okay! Beginners are very welcome. This is a relaxed, creative session — no experience needed.

Is there parking nearby?

There’s limited street parking in the surrounding area. Public transport is recommended- the nearest tube stations are East Finchley and Highgate.

What’s the best way to get there by public transport?

The 102 and 234 buses stop close to The Green Shed. The 134, 43, 299, W7 and 144 also run nearby. The nearest tube stations are East Finchley and Highgate which are both a twenty minute walk away or accessible by bus.

Absolutely. Lots of people come solo! It’s a friendly, low-pressure space where you’ll meet other creative people.

Is the event really over 18s only?

Yes. Scrap & Yap is designed as a relaxed, adult evening.

Scrap & Yap - Hosted by The Craft Clubhouse

Join us for a festive, cosy evening of creativity at The Green Shed, Muswell Hill (N10), a welcoming space for anyone who loves paper, stickers, and a bit of calm.

We’ll spend 90 minutes chatting, cutting, gluing, and junk journalling. All crafting supplies (scissors, glue, paper, washi tape, and ephemera) will be provided; you just need to bring your own journal or scrapbook.

Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned junk journaller, there’s room for you here. If you’re neurodivergent, non-verbal or shy and prefer to wear headphones or keep to yourself, that’s completely okay-you’re welcome to join in however feels comfortable.

This is an inclusive, anti-racist, body-positive, neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ friendly space. People of all races, genders, and identities are welcome.
