Event description

Description

Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops of the Inland Empire are invited to Chino Basin Water Conservation District’s free Scout Discovery Day at the district’s Water Conservation Center. Scouts will explore the magic of soil and water conservation while working towards receiving badges and a special CBWCD-specific patch.

Girl Scouts will meet some requirements for the “It’s Your Planet – Love It!” Journey, and Boy Scouts will be able to meet some requirements for the Soil & Water Conservation merit badge from participating in the day’s activities.

If your Scouts attended Scout Discovery Day in July 2017, please keep in mind that the stations will be the same.

Due to high demand, Scout Discovery Day is only open to Scout troops within the Chino Basin Water Conservation District service area. Our service area covers the cities of Chino, Montclair, and portions of Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, and Upland. Check if your troop is within our service area at http://cbwcd.org/130/Service-Area

If your troop is outside of our service area but still interested in the event, please register but know that you will be placed on a waitlist, and we will let you know in mid-January if your troop will be able to attend.
