Description
The all new Scottish Games Network has changed from an informal community, to become the industry body for Scotland. What are the plans, how can it help? What do you want from this new organisation?
Founder Brian Baglow will be explaining the reasons for this major change, outlining his ideas for the future of Scotland's games industry and seeking input, ideas and feedback from every company in Scotland.
Whatever your role in the games sector, the all new Scottish Games Network wants to hear from you.
From industry wide topics such a diversity, education, funding, business models and business development, to Scotland-specific topics including working with other creative industries, events, media, marketing and more, this is your chance to contribute to the evolution and growth of Scotland's games industry.
Speaking at the event is also Michelle Gibson who works with Skills Development Scotland where she's the Project Manager for the Certificate of Work Readiness.
The certificate of Work Readiness is a new SQA certificate which offers employers the opportunity to offer a work placement to young people and be part of the assessment process for the certificate. It is a chance to benefit from fresh ideas and energy, as well as offering an opportunity to get young people involved within a business.
