Scotland the Brave
Description
The First Brass is teaming up with The Jacobite Pipe and Drum Band to celebrate National Tartan Day, April 6th at the Sarasota Opera House. In addition to the Brass, bagpipes, drums, Scottish dancers and fiddles will round out this exciting show. 15 year old Maria Wirries will be featured as she brightens the stage with her wonderful voice and connection with the audience. This concert will honor Sheila Jackson, owner of Scots Corner, for all the hard work she has done over the years promoting and supporting the heritage of the Scottish community in the Sarasota area.
